By the time she married James her own family had shrunk - She had 6 Cadle children. She gave John Henry Cadle up for a adoption to some childless friends in her widowhood and Mary Catherine Moore, her eldest child, had died shortly after John Cadle.
Sarah had 5 Cadle children plus Harriet Thomas, her stepdaughter, to which she added 2 more children.

4th marriage Charles Gurney, b 1778 died 1853 brought his own party to SA on the Weymouth boarding at Portsmouth in Jan 1820 ;
a widower with son Charles b 1812 Druggist in Deal in Kent; in SA a smuggler for a while then later Market Master Port Elizabeth
