Sarah's Will 1843

A rough transcription is thus:-

Charles Gurney of Port Elizabeth,  Algoa Bay, Eastern Division of Cape of Good Hope.

Market Master, & Sarah Gurney his lawful wife .... divided everything between their children equally.

To Charles Gurney Junior, Sarah Moore now Mrs Pomeroy, John Cotton Moore, William Cadle, Elizabeth  Cadle now Mrs Brickhill, John Cadle, Henry Cadle, Catherine Cadle now Mrs Forrest, George Cadle ,  Anne Thomas now Mrs Mc Carthy, and James Thomas, who being blind the Testator and Testatrix  desire that his brothers and sister provide for him with every comfort to the end of his days
